HONDURAS

The Skiatook Church of Christ supports David Logue, who is working in Honduras via Mountain Top Ministries.  David's web site has this to say about the work there:

​What We Do...
In our ministry home our goal is to help our boys achieve both an academic level of excellence while at the same time helping them obtain a sustainable relationship with our Lord.

Who We Reach... 
Throughout Honduras we have become connected with many different ministries and groups of people. Through those networks our goal is to reach the boys that need that extra help in their walk of life. Our goal is to reach the “untouchables,” the ones who have been forgotten or given up on. From homeless street kids, to rebellious teenagers… we reach out to young men who are struggling physically, emotionally, and/or spiritually


What We Believe... 
Mountain Top Ministries reaches impoverished boys in an effort to raise them in a loving godly environment while providing them with an education. We believe in a structural foundation of faith, discipline, and education. We encourage our boys to pursue their personal relationships spiritually and academically. Our ultimate goal is to help raise God fearing men through our boys, while at the same time help them become active members in their society.

In addition, the Skiatook Church of Christ frequently sends our teens to Honduras on mission trips.  While not working at Mountain Top Ministries, the trips are coordinated with David and the teens work with some of his boys as well as interact with many of them on a daily basis while there.
